Overview

Snap-on Incorporated is seeking an Associate Business Systems Specialist in its I/T Department, in the Kenosha, Wisconsin General Office.

Responsibilities

  • Use company issue management tool (currently Jira/ITCOE) to update the progress of tickets, and communicate with other resources
  • Understand the reported issue and apply analytical skills and application knowledge to resolve the reported issue
  • Duplicate the reported issue in a Test system and work with developers to resolve the issue and test the solution 
  • Help users to perform User Acceptance Testing
  • Participate in ERP LN Rollouts to new sites or during implementing new functionality to existing sites on ERP LN
  • Frequent Travel could be required at periods, depending on nature of project
  • Ability to take up following ERP LN Implementation tasks for projects to roll out current ERP LN solutions to new Snap-on business units
  • Data Migration definition, coordination of tasks with technical teams and validation
  • Define functional specs for requirements that can’t be met with existing solutions

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred in related field or equivalent experience
  • Preferred previous internship in Information Technology.
  • Preferred previous courses in areas around Manufacturing, including Planning (MRP etc.), Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing or Service
  • Interested and ready to learn Infor ERP LN Sales, Purchasing, Warehousing, Invoicing, Manufacturing, Planning or Service Modules and resolve application issues reported by Users (2 to 3 modules listed to start with).
  • Experience in gathering Business Requirements, documenting Gaps and participating in the estimation of development effort to satisfy functional Gaps
  • Experience in preparing Functional Designs for Developments
  • Experience in drafting test scripts/scenarios and performing Unit & User Acceptance Tests
