Overview

Location: Snap-on Corporate Offices located at 2801 80th Street, Kenosha, WI

 

Schedule: In-person, full-time 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday through Friday, from May 2024 – August 2024

 

Position Summary:  Help support the Corporate Marketing and the Snap-on Tools Communications teams with event binders and slides, a variety of market research projects, data compilation, report creation, competitive tracking, social media or web research, community events, and general office administration.  

 

Key Tasks:

  • Creating, proofreading, transcribing, and editing of written materials, including but not limited to newsletters, email campaigns, promotional and support materials
  • Help prepare event-prep materials - including, creating biographies, product write-ups, presentation slides, etc. and produce the final briefing binders
  • Identifying & reviewing secondary market research studies and summarizing key results
  • Monitoring automotive aftermarket news and competitor promotional activity
  • Assisting in analysis of internal and external market data as needed
  • Engage in social media activities such as: tracking and content monitoring and capturing
  • Office support including document retention, data entry, photocopy and print assistance
  • Complete other tasks and projects as needed

 

Experience/Skills Requirements: 

  • Must be currently in college (sophomore and above preferred)
  • Interest in Business, Marketing, Economics, Research, Communications or Events/Public Relations majors preferred
  • Experience creating written materials for publication (newsletter content, presentation, etc)
  • Excellent computer skills – proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint skills)
  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Strong analytical skills

 

Work Environment:

  • Ability to sit or stand for prolonged periods
  • Ability to work on a computer and competently utilize basic office supplies including telephone, keyboard/mouse, printer/copier, scanner, and fax machine
  • Ability to perform multiple tasks with numerous interruptions
