Salary Range $21 - $22 plus $2 for second shift (SECOND SHIFT ONLY - Monday - Friday 2 PM to 10:30 PM + possible overtime)

Responsible for assisting the Machinists in carrying out production and manufacturing functions as required for day-to-day operation.
Responsible for safety in own work area and participate in creating a safe workplace.
- Runs CNC lathe and mill machines and equipment from set up to operation with existing programs and tooling information.
- Producing parts and tools from different resources mostly aluminum and steel.
- Monitoring machinery and equipment and inspecting in process and finished products to ensure quality specifications and production demands are met.
- Offset machine and equipment changes.
- Must be able to work independently and in a team-oriented setting.
- Meet/exceed Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) for Quality that support Safety, Compliance, Six Sigma Quality, On-Time Delivery (OTD) and financial objectives.
- Provides back up and assistance to others in department.
- Perform basic daily maintenance on machinery as needed.

Minimum 1year hands on experience with CNC lathe and mill. HAAS experienced strongly preferred.
- High school diploma or equivalent experience and formal training.
- Adhere to manufacturing environment safety requirements.
- Ability to analyze the information provided on blueprints or other documents to ensure the final product meets specifications.
- Able to make edit changes on existing CNC programs.
- Hands on problem-solving to detect issues in the production process and find solutions to ensure quality production.
- Hands on experience with quality inspection metrology using measuring tools such as calipers, and micrometers, gauges, dial indicators as well as visual quality assurance.
- Able to read blueprints, routing and shop aids
- Mathematical ability and problem solving
- Must be an effective communicator, and computer literate.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize and adjust in a fast-paced work environment and make timely decisions in a manufacturing environment.
- Ability to perform repetitive functions on a daily basis.
- Good organizational skill and detail accuracy.
- Basic computer knowledge
- Willing to work overtime, including Saturdays and up to 20 hours per week as needed.
