Position Summary:
Tax Analyst is primarily responsible for several areas of indirect tax including U.S. Sales and Use Tax filings, Canada Sales and Use Tax filings, account reconciliations, and personal and real estate tax filings and payments. Objectives are maximizing process efficiency, assuring accuracy, and maintaining compliance with various tax laws and regulations.
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and file sales and use tax returns for U.S. and Canadian entities.
- Compile data from various sources to file the necessary returns.
- Maintain accurate records of filings and payments.
- Communicate with other departments regarding payment requests.
- Complete monthly account reconciliations accurately and on a timely basis.
- Prepare various monthly sales and use tax, property tax, and other journal entries.
- Complete and file personal property tax returns for various U.S. locations.
- Timely remit payment for all personal property and real estate taxes.
- Assist with other Tax Department tasks including research and providing Tax Exemption Certificates, provide audit support, and other special projects.
Requirements:
- Bachelors in Accounting.
- Minimum 3 years of experience.

- Strong computer skills with the ability to learn specialized software and to extract financial information from ERP system.
