Are you a detail-oriented professional with a passion for accuracy and efficiency?  Join our team as a Parts Shipping Clerk and play a key role in ensuring our customers satisfaction.

 

Our Parts Shipping Clerk, will be under the direction of the Inventory Manager and in accordance with the job specific requirements and standard operating procedures, will ensure the timely and accurate shipping of parts to customers.  Duties will include packaging and processing parts for shipment using UPS, FedEx, and Epicor computer applications.  This is an excellent opportunity for individuals who are organized, customer-focused and capable or working in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and package parts for shipment to customers, ensuring all shipments are accurate, properly packaged and meet quality standards.
  • Maintain a clean and organized inventory of parts, ensuring all stock is properly stored & labeled.
  • Process shipping labels and documentation using appropriate software and systems
  • Collaborate with warehouse/production team to ensure parts are shipped in a timely manner.
  • General cleanup of work area at each end of day.
  • Strong interpersonal and team building skills.
  • Work with shipping carriers/software to process shipments for domestic & international customers.
  • Customer service centric.
  • Adhere to all shipping/warehouse procedures and policies.
  • Perform and understand non-conformance process in Epicor.
  • Comprehend and retain training information and follow directions.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Shipping/Warehouse experience (one year preferred)
  • Ability to lift, carry and move parts up to to 25lbs.
  • Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills
  • Willing to work overtime as needed.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and processes (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL)
  • Ability to use hand tools.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
  • Basic computer knowledge, including Microsoft Office or similar software
  • Epicor knowledge is a plus.
  • Strong written and verbal communication & customer service skills.
