Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Inventory Control Coordinator to support inventory operations within our Field Service Organization. This role will focus on maintaining inventory accuracy, tracking stock levels, coordinating logistics, and ensuring field service technicians have timely access to the parts and equipment they need. The ideal candidate has at least 2 years hands-on experience with inventory systems, strong organizational skills, and a collaborative mindset to help drive operational efficiency in a service-driven environment.

Responsibilities

This role supports inventory accuracy, field service coordination, process improvement, cost control, and team collaboration. 

 

  • Maintain accurate inventory records and perform regular cycle counts. 
  • Implement and maintain inventory tracking systems, utilizing ERP, WMS, or inventory management software (e.g., LN, RIMS, etc.). 
  • Ensure timely delivery of parts and tools to field technicians. 
  • Forecast with service teams to anticipate demand and plan for critical parts and shortages. 
  • Coordinate inventory transfers and assist with shipping and receiving. 
  • Identify process gaps and suggest improvements to reduce waste. 
  • Track basic inventory metrics and support cost-saving efforts. 
  • Collaborate with warehouse and service teams to support daily operations. 
  • Follow inventory procedures and participate in training as needed. 

Qualifications

REQUIRED

 

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in inventory management, supply chain, or logistics 
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Business Administration, Logistics, or a related field (or equivalent experience). 
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in inventory management software and Microsoft Excel. 
  • Analytical Skills: Strong ability to interpret inventory data, identify trends, and implement strategic improvements. 
  • Problem-Solving: Proven ability to troubleshoot inventory challenges and develop effective solutions. 
  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent leadership, negotiation, and cross-functional collaboration skills. 

 

PREFERRED

 

  • Experience in a Field Service, Automotive, Equipment, or Industrial Services environment. 
  • Familiarity with lean inventory practices, Just-in-Time (JIT), or demand planning. 
  • Understanding of fleet operations, technician dispatch, or parts logistics.
