Norbar Torque Tools, a member of the Snap-on Incorporated family of companies, is seeking an Air Tool/Gearbox Service Technician. The Technician will be responsible for the inspection, repair, and calibration of air-powered tools and gearbox mechanisms. This position plays a key role in the ongoing operations of the Service Department and contributes directly to customer satisfaction and product performance standards. The role is part of a small, collaborative team and requires both independent and team-based work.

• Diagnose and service power air tools and gearbox-related items
• Perform calibrations and repairs in accordance with company procedures and quality standards
• Prepare formal service estimates for customers
• Maintain service records, customer contact information, and service history documentation
• Generate and manage service department documentation
• Provide support to other service department functions as needed
• Occasionally interact in person with customers, sales representatives, and management

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Solid mechanical aptitude and proven hands-on technical ability
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook) and general Windows-based business systems
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Demonstrated problem-solving capabilities
• Ability to work cooperatively in a team environment

Preferred Qualifications
• Prior experience in a mechanical repair, calibration, or service-related role
• Physical and Work Environment Requirements:
• Must be able to lift and handle tools and components weighing up to 50 pounds
• Work involves standing, bending, and using hand tools for extended periods
• Standard shop and office environment, with occasional customer interaction
