Overview

Location:  Pleasant Prairie, WI

Monday thru Friday in-office

Start time between 7:30a-8:30am (8-hour day)

 

The International Logistics Specialist oversees global supply chain operations, ensuring smooth order processing, compliance, and logistics coordination for international customers. This role integrates project management, supply chain oversight, and customer service expertise to streamline operations, improve efficiency, and drive international business growth.

Responsibilities

International Order Management & Logistics:

  • Oversee and coordinate global order fulfillment, kitting, and distribution operations
  • Ensure timely and accurate delivery of international shipments while maintaining compliance with international trade laws
  • Work with third-party logistics providers, freight forwarders, and customs brokers to resolve shipping and distribution issues
  • Monitor and improve global delivery performance and inventory management
  • Customer & Program Management
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for international customers, subsidiaries, and stakeholders regarding logistics and program needs
  • Identify customer requirements for international programs and customer issues
  • Provide consulting and data-driven insights to clients regarding logistics performance
  • Address and resolve customer concerns, ensuring excellent service and adherence to contractual stipulations, if there are no stipulations then ensure we adhere to the individual agreement

Process Improvement & Compliance:

  • Develop and maintain process standards for international order processing, fulfillment, and warehouse needs
  • Monitor regulatory compliance, including export documentation and customs requirements
  • Provide leadership and training to internal teams on logistics best practices, compliance, and operational efficiency

Qualifications

Education & Experience:

  • Recommended bachelor’s degree in international business, Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field
  • 2-4 years of experience in international logistics, program management, or supply chain operations

Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to manage multiple projects
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook) and experience with ERP systems (e.g., LN, Baan)
  • Familiarity with compliance regulations, including export documentation, customs guidelines
  • Excellent communication skills for interacting with international clients, vendors, and internal teams
  • Ability to adapt to a fast-paced, global work environment while ensuring operational efficiency.

  • Flexible working hours may be required to coordinate with international time zones
  • Travel may be required to support international operations, OEM visits, or customer engagements
  • Additional certifications or schooling may be required annually
