The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and general upkeep of manufacturing equipment, facility systems, and support infrastructure. This role works under the direction of the Facilities and Manufacturing Maintenance Lead and supports safe, efficient, and reliable plant operations through hands-on maintenance activities, timely response to equipment issues, and adherence to company safety and maintenance standards.

• Perform preventive, routine, and emergency maintenance on production equipment, machinery, and facility systems to support safe and efficient operations. 

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, and replace mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and other system components as needed to minimize downtime. 

• Inspect equipment and facility systems, identify wear or potential failures, and communicate issues requiring corrective action or follow-up. 

• Complete assigned work orders, maintenance schedules, repair records, and related documentation accurately and in a timely manner. 

• Support installation, setup, relocation, startup, and general upkeep of machinery, tools, building systems, and maintenance work areas. 

• Use hand tools, power tools, meters, diagnostic equipment, and maintenance-related systems safely and effectively. 

• Follow all safety procedures, including lockout/tagout, PPE requirements, and safe work practices, while maintaining a clean and organized work area. 

• Work closely with the Maintenance Lead, production personnel, contractors, and other departments to support equipment reliability, continuous improvement, and overall plant performance. 

• Assist with spare parts, maintenance supplies, and inventory as needed. 

• Perform all other related duties as assigned. 

• Requires HS diploma plus one year (1) of technical school OR equivalent job experience in a manufacturing maintenance position, preferred. 

• Valid Driver’s License 

• Basic knowledge of mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems. 

• Ability to troubleshoot and repair manufacturing equipment and facility-related systems. 

• Ability to read and follow manuals, work instructions, diagrams, and basic blueprints. 

• Experience using hand tools, power tools, measuring devices, and diagnostic equipment. 

• Basic computer skills for work orders, maintenance tracking, or documentation are preferred. 

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail. 

• Ability to work independently on assigned tasks and as part of a team. 

• Good communication skills and willingness to take direction from leadership. 

• Ability to prioritize work and respond to changing production needs. 

• Willingness to work overtime, flexible schedules, or emergency call-ins as needed. 

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, climb, and work in an industrial environment for extended periods.
