Overview

Our Inventory/Warehouse Manager, under the direction of senior management and in accordance with job-specific requirements and standard operating procedures, will oversee all aspects of our warehouse operations. This includes ensuring the timely and accurate shipping of part orders, managing the pulling of parts for manufacturing jobs, and maintaining optimal inventory levels. Responsibilities

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Warehouse Operations Management:
    • Oversee daily warehouse activities, including receiving, storing, and shipping of parts and products.
    • Ensure all shipments are accurate, properly packaged, and meet quality standards.
    • Coordinate pulling and staging of parts for manufacturing jobs according to production schedules.
    • Maintain a clean and organized inventory of parts, ensuring all stock is properly stored and labeled.
  • Inventory Control:
    • Implement inventory control procedures, including cycle counts and audits.
    • Utilize Epicor and other inventory management software to track and manage stock levels and assist in demand planning.
    • Identify and resolve inventory discrepancies promptly.
    • Perform and understand non-conformance processes in Epicor.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Supervise, train, and mentor warehouse staff to achieve operational goals.
    • Develop work schedules and assign tasks to team members.
    • Promote a safe and efficient work environment in compliance with company policies.
    • Strong interpersonal and team-building skills.
  • Process Improvement:
    • Identify opportunities to enhance warehouse operations and implement best practices.
    • Collaborate with other departments to streamline processes and improve communication.
    • Analyze warehouse performance metrics and prepare reports for senior management.

 

  • Additional Responsibilities:
    • Comprehend and retain training information and follow directions.
    • Ensure customer-centric approach in all warehouse operations.
    • Adhere to all shipping/warehouse procedures and policies.

Qualifications

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in warehouse and inventory management.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management systems (WMS) and ERP software, especially Epicor.
  • Strong leadership and team-building skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Knowledge of safety regulations and compliance standards.
  • Forklift certification is a plus.
  • Ability to lift, carry, and move parts up to 25 lbs.
  • Ability to stand 8 to 10 hours a day.
  • Reliable attendance and punctuality are a must.
  • Familiarity with shipping software and processes (e.g., FedEx, UPS, DHL).
