This College Intern -  Part-time position is for fall/winter 2017. 


This position is designated to help support the day to day function of the Market Intelligence Group in a variety of market research projects and other data analyses. The duties could consist of data mining, data compilation, competitive tracking and etc. Tasks include but are not limited to data compilation and report creation. There may be opportunity for product management on specific market research projects as they arise. 


  • Identifying and reviewing secondary market research studies and summarizing key results
  • assisting with updating PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
  • Maintaining a database of product registration cards including data entry and creating summary reports
  • Maintaining internal web portal of research materials
  • monitoring automotive aftermarket news and competitor promotional activity
  • assisting in analysis of internal and external market data as needed
  • assisting with qualitative market research projects as needed


Skills/Experience Required

  • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, accurate, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, self-motivating and strong analytical skills
  • Marketing, Business or Research major preferred 

Work Hours 

  • 20-30 hours per week, Monday-Friday
  • Flexible schedule, Approximate hours 8am-5pm
