Overview

This position performs shipping work related to ship, storage, distribution, or delivery of products, parts, materials, and supplies. Loads, unloads, moves, or stores items per delivery or routing documents, or supervisor instructions.

Responsibilities

KEY ACCOUNTABILITY

  • Ships materials, parts, and supplies
  • Verifies outbound shipments against documentation
  • Records amount of materials shipped or distributed
  • Stores items in proper location
  • Request parts, materials, supplies, components from stock and Production
  • Maintains inventory records; recommends reorders when minimum quantities are reached
  • Performs Domestic and International shipments
  • Monitors and resolves shipment discrepancies

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for shipping, storing, and distributing materials, tools, equipment, and products within establishment
  • Maintains shipping area in clean and orderly fashion
  • Performs other duties and assignments as directed by management
  • Follows company policies and procedures
  • Maintains strong emphasis on safety

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED equivalent
  • Years of Experience:
  • Minimum 1 year of relevant experience
  • Recent experience working in a warehouse and/or distribution facility
  • Other Requirements:
  • Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record for past three years
  • Experience operating a fork lift
  • LN experience is preferred
