    Provide sales/margin analysis and sales data reports for Snap-on Tools Sales & Franchising, Finance, and Product Management teams. This position will be relied upon to generate sales data reports for senior management to support fact-based business decision making. Creating these reports will involve auditing, analyzing, and problem solving. This position will be expected to prepare analysis on sales forecast and margins for all product lines, which will involve working closely with Product Management. This position will be responsible for developing reports and queries from the internal Snap-on IT data warehouse tables, as well as leveraging the analytical tool Tableau.


    • Support sales and product management through development of sales plans by product line.
    • Align management and promotional plans in support of the sales/margin targets.
    • Critical review of daily North American Franchisee sales. Evaluate sales data and identify Franchisee data errors; working closely with IT to correct sales data.
    • Create margin analysis and collaborate with sales in developing countermeasures for the current month flash reporting for senior management.
    • Generate several ongoing weekly, monthly, and quarterly statistics and key metric reports of quantitative sales data for Sales & Franchising, Finance, and Product Management teams.
    • Analyze business performance through the review of sales data as it pertains to business growth, profit margin, product, source, and or brand mix.
    • Examine sales reporting closely and question potential data inaccuracies, raising significant issues to management attention.
    • Provide ongoing analysis and schedules for Quarterly Business Reviews.
    • Develop and leverage reports and query building within the IT Data Warehouse and the analytical tool Tableau.
    • Monitor data warehouse tables to ensure accurate data and reporting.
    • Provide ad hoc reports and summaries for senior management.
    • Administer quarterly Sales Incentive Plan, working closely with HR, Sales Management, and Finance team members to calculate plan payouts.
    • Standardize, consolidate, and improve processes for reporting within the North American Sales channel.
    • Identify and implement continuous improvement opportunities in the finance business unit.
    • Complete other tasks as assigned.



    • Bachelor’s degree in Business (preferably Finance or Accounting).
    • Minimum of 5 to 8 years of work experience in finance, accounting, or product management.
    • Thorough understanding of business operations and finance.
    • Strong background in reporting and query building tools, preferably in Tableau and SQL.
    • Possess the desire for a high degree of accuracy in all aspects of one’s work.
    • Working knowledge of corporate PC systems and Data Bases: SSA LN, Data Warehouse, SQL, Tableau, Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and Hyperion Financial Management.
