    Responsible for reviewing, calculating and processing all sales incentive (SIP) plans, terms and conditions compensation schedules, and other compensation related research and analysis. Gathers data, performs analysis and generates reports for sales and sales incentive programs. Also responsible for accounting and reporting and analysis functions to support the Division Controller and / or Finance Managers. Ensures timely and accurate closing of financial records on a recurring basis; ensures integrity of financial data through diligent research, analysis and investigation; provides management with meaningful financial analysis which can be used to better understand trends and guide business decisions. Understands and follows SOX requirements and other policies and financial principles, while supporting internal customer demands.


    • Gather sales data, performs analysis and generates findings for commissions and sales incentive plans which may be bi-weekly, monthly, quarterly or annually.
    • Manage all activity related to the annual SIP plans for multiple segments within the Industrial Group.
    • Provide financial analysis for management related to new programs and changes to existing programs.
    • Analyze income statements and/or develop analysis for management’s review to assist with decision making.
    • Responsible for monthly financial reporting, including segment results, margin analysis, freight review, and sales summaries, as well as P&L and balance sheet analysis.
    • Manage forecasting and reporting process for Industrial Administrative functions, and other areas as requested, including analysis of results and review of opportunities.
    • Lead reporting and forecasting process for headcount and compensation related expenses.
    • Integrate closely with Industrial I/T and Finance Managers to develop and manage sales data and related reports.
    • Assist in interim and year-end financial audits, as well as annual internal controls audits.
    • Perform ongoing testing of internal controls within guidelines of SOX or other accounting policies and present findings and corrective actions.
    • Assist management yearly in the preparation of the Industrial Worldwide Long Range Plan (LRP).
    • Provide financial analysis and support for Industrial operations as needed.
    • May supervise and/or lead direct reports; assist with cross training and conduct training of peers, co-workers, etc. as needed.


    • Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or equivalent; plus 4-5 years of directly related experience. MBA or CPA preferred, but not required.
    • Thorough understanding of accounting processes, procedure and internal controls.
    • Must be able to effectively research, evaluate and analyze complex problems, develop recommendations and assist in executing sound solutions. Excellent math & analytical skills are needed to be successful in this position.
    • Strong organization and project planning skills are needed to manage multiple priorities while maintaining required accuracy, meeting deadlines, and using effective time management skills.
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Access, Outlook & PowerPoint. Must have high degree of proficiency using spreadsheets (Excel) and experience using Hyperion or other report writer financial software is required. Experience with reporting and data mining needed in order to be successful.
    • Working knowledge of ERP type applications (i.e., LN or other business operating systems) is required. Experience with Tableau a plus.
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills, including negotiation skills, are required. Strong communication skills are also required to clearly convey sales data and incentive plan results across multiple levels of the organization.
    • Must be able to work effectively within the team but also work independently, make sound decisions with minimum supervision and have the initiative to drive goals and projects through to completion.
    • Personal integrity, honesty and ethics are required.
    • 5-10% travel required.
