Minimum of 3-5 years in technical education; plus Bachelors (BA/BS) degree in technical education field preferred. General business acumen preferred
Prior experience working with building facilitation (charrettes, print development and layout) in related sales segment is preferred.
Prior experience leading and managing large projects; strategic and tactical planning, organizing and ability to successfully execute plans are preferred.
Must be able to work within an organization at all levels including high level education administration, build relationships that foster teamwork and network appropriately to build consensus and drive strategy within and outside the organization.
Strong effective communication skills (oral, written, formal and informal presentation & facilitation skills) are required. Must have the ability to effectively modify communication style along with supporting presentation and materials as needed to meet target audience, which may be internal or external to Snap-on and at all levels within an organization.
Experience in business development, knowledge of industrial tool market & prior experience in developing market penetration strategies plus the ability to identify trends and sales opportunities in various markets as well as, knowledge of Snap-on products and services are preferred.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite products including Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Adobe, and Internet mining and application skills are required.
Capable of leading various size groups to reach consensus and influence timely constructive decisions. Ability to build cross functional teams using problem solving, negotiations and conflict resolution to reach viable customer oriented solutions.
Must be self-motivated, ability to adapt quickly and have strong ethics, integrity in all dealings.
Domestic (60%+) travel (including overnight) required; may require some international travel.
The ideal candidate will reside in: Phoenix, Denver, Salt Lake City, Sacramento or Dallas.
