  • Overview

    We are seeking a Marketing Specialist to join our team in Conway, AR. This person will be responsible for the marketing communications effort for assigned product(s) and projects.  Additional responsibilities include supporting the internal and external communications efforts, marketing research, trade shows, social media campaigns and sales support tools.

    Responsibilities

    • Coordinates, develops and implements marketing communications and projects that support the sales strategies and goals of all sales channels and products.  This includes brochures and other marketing collateral, direct mail, promotional e-mails, internal newsletters, white papers, press releases, PowerPoint presentations, online content, multi-media presentations, etc.
    • Responsible for tradeshow planning and production assuring that all timelines and budgets are met.
    • Works with a wide range of internal clients to identify marketing communications needs and make appropriate strategic and tactical recommendations.
    • Maintains adequate supplies of marketing collateral.
    • Ensures the accuracy of all assigned internal and external communications projects.
    • Develops support tools and communications for the inside and outside sales teams.
    • Serves as a focal point for aggregating and disseminating market research and competitive profiles within the organization.
    • Assists with the organization of events, presentations and product launches.
    • Maintains the integrity of the Snap-on brand by ensuring consistent messaging and branding in all communications and sales promotion materials, in keeping with   corporate standards and positioning.
    • Interacts with outside agencies, printers, and other suppliers as required.
    • Ensures all projects meet given timelines and budgets.

    Qualifications

    • 3-5 years of experience in marketing.  Automotive or technology services background a plus.
    • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing or related field.
    • Understanding of the marketing and sales process of technical products; ability to translate product, source, and requirement documents into effective communications.
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills are essential.
    • Trade Show and Videographer experience preferred.
    • Experience managing projects through outside agencies.
    • Well developed planning, prioritization and organizational skills; the ability to work independently or with little or no supervision.
    • Results oriented with an ability to handle multiple assignments simultaneously.
    • Knowledge of MS Office (especially Word and PowerPoint) with some database and mail merge proficiency preferred. 
    • Knowledge of graphics applications like PageMaker, Adobe Illustrator and/or PhotoShop is also a plus.
