  • Overview

    This position is designed to help support the day to day function of the Market Intelligence Group in a variety market research projects and other data analyses. The duties could consist of data mining, data compilation, competitive tracking and etc. Tasks include but are not limited to data compilation and report creation. There may be opportunity for project management on specific market research projects as they arise.

    Responsibilities

    • Identifying & reviewing secondary market research studies and summarizing key results.
    • Assisting with updating PowerPoint presentations and Excel spreadsheets
    • Maintaining internal web portal of research materials
    • Monitoring automotive aftermarket news and competitor promotional activity
    • Assisting in analysis of internal and external market data as needed
    • Assisting with qualitative market research projects as needed

     

    Qualifications

    Skills/Experience Required/Preferred

    • Actively working towards a bachelor's degree
    • Business, Marketing, Economics, Mathematics or Research major preferred   
    • Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills, accurate, attention to detail, ability to meet deadlines, self-motivating and strong analytical skills

    Work Hours

    • 20 – 30 hours per week, Monday through Friday
    • Flexible schedule, Approximate Hours 8:00am to 5:00pm

    Compensation

    • This is a part-time, hourly paid position
    • Not eligible for benefits
    • Documentation of work for school credit will be provided as needed.
