  • Overview

    This technical support position will provide software and hardware installation and technical support for the most complex Snap-on Level 5 ATC products to internal and external customers including troubleshooting, documentation and training for the Level 5 product line.


    Responsible for diagnosing and resolving complex product performance issues. Will serve as key resource for Technical Support Specialists and take the lead as new products are rolled out. Will build and maintain library of service records.


    • Bachelor’s degree in related field such as Computer Science or Networking with 3 – 5 years of related work experience or equivalent work experience. Prior military experience is desired.
    • 3- 5 years’ field service or technical support experience and demonstrated knowledge of a broad range of products across multiple product lines.
    • Must have prior network interface experience to be successful in this position of at least 1 – 3 years. Proficiency with DOS, Windows 7 - 8, Microsoft Word and Astea Dispatch-1.
    • Ability to read electrical schematics and pneumatic diagrams.
    • Ability to troubleshoot a variety of PC problems.
    • Must have strong presentation skills with prior training experience. 
    • Must hold and maintain all credentials including a valid driver's license with an impeccable driving record. Must have ability to obtain adequate insurance coverage, and reliable personal vehicle.
    • Ability to travel frequently (may include international and some overnight domestic travel) approximately 50-75% overnight travel required.
