    This management position is responsible for planning, managing, and general oversight a software development team located in Lincolnshire, IL which collaborates with global teams. This team develops a web-based Windows PC application that runs on our global point-of-sale systems which sells and delivers diagnostic scan tool software. Additionally, the team is responsible for a large number of web-based services supporting software sales and delivery. Key responsibilities include: Supporting the sale and delivery of software product upgrades on rigid schedules and the integrated software build process that combines the various components for the product. RESPONSIBILITIES ·         Direct line management of software development and software quality associates operating in an agile methodology with a focus on secure software development ·         Agile Product Owner responsibilities, including managing the team backlog and collaborating with the Product Manager on priorities and features ·         Ownership of the product licensing system design, and software upgrade distribution systems released on rigid schedules ·         Collaborate with diagnostic scan tool product managers and development managers on integrated builds, delivery of installers, and upgrade processes of scan tool software ·         Collaborate with production factory teams on tools supporting the supply chain including production, customer care, and repair depot ·         Collaboration with Information Technology team on hosting deployments, including delivery of run books and installers ·         Develop team members – career development, skill improvement, and succession planning ·         Contribute to the software development long range strategy, including management of quality, technical debt, and technical stack ·         Manage and enhance key metrics to manage the performance of the software development team ·         Collaborate with other Snap-on Groups and Divisions to execute product, support, and financial goals ·         Oversee/sponsor Rapid Continuous Improvements (i.e. Lean Initiatives) within areas of responsibilty to drive cost out and improve the overall productivity and quality of the team   QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS Education: ·         Bachelor’s Degree:  Engineering, Business Administration, or related, or equivalent experience ·         Advanced degree preferred.   Production Associates   Our Snap-on Tool Storage plant located in Algona, Iowa is looking for Production Associates. Wages start at $21.36 per hour with increases every 30 days until you reach $24.83 per hour and annual increases thereafter. This is a three shift facility.  Openings are typically on 2nd or 3rd shift with the opportunity to bid into another shift. Shift premium for 2nd shift is $.80/hr and $1.00 for 3rd shift.   2nd shift hours are 3:00 pm to Midnight or 1:00 am  (Typically work 9-10 hour shifts M-F and overtime on Saturdays as needed) 3rd shift hours are 9:00 pm or 10:00 pm to 7:00 am (Typicaly work 9-10 hour shifts S-Th and overtime on Friday as needed)   Overtime is paid after 8 hours/day and on Saturdays   Medical, dental, vision and 401K after one month of service.   Newly hired associates are typically assigned to the following positions: - Assembly - assemble and pack tool storage units - Welding – form (bend) and spot weld metal components - Painter Helper - hang and remove parts from the paint line and material handling of loads to and from line - Be a team player with good attendance - Be able to work in a fast pace environment and repetitively handle 5 to 35 lbs. - Follow verbal and written work instructions - Maintain a safe and clean work environment - Previous manufacturing experience is a plus, but not required.
